Tongs work better Also, terrible repotting job. It'd only work cause cacti are generally tough. I wouldn't hire you to work at my nursery. If you're gonna do a demo video at least do a good job. This is a bad example for people and some will follow your lead too

If there something wrong with your snake plant roots you’re probably overwatering. you want to let the dirt get dry halfway down the pot. Sometimes The leaves will get little vertical creases in them when it needs to be watered. A healthy root system will cause healthy foliage. After that a month probably a nice fertilizer, heavy in.”P” will give you healthy, nice deep, green, fast growing foliage.

thank you...I love my Myrtle, and this video. I use a moisture meter to see how my plants are as I have two huge healthy Palm Plants (cat?) that I want to keep balanced. My myrtle was needing water twice a week, and now in summer once....which made no sense other than there is no heat but AC. This week suddenly the soil was staying moist...like for 10 days..moist on the meter, not really wet though . I wrapped it in newspaper to dry out the soil ( have I lost you yet) and now will buy some new soil and pit it back in its small pot. All signs are healthy, any reason why you think the soil stayed moist? Thank you!

I just received a Black Velvet and the leaves are curled under. I've been hesitant to water her too much so maybe that's the issue. Most of my other plants do better drying out before being watered again.

I water my plants with filtered water. But saw an article that said water really isn't really what it seems. My plants i look at very closely from day to day literally not even 2 hours ago there were spots ontop like u mentioned and i swore it was mold!!! Now im second guessing myself.

What is the difference between a Silver Bay and Golden Bay? I have a hard time differentiating them based on my online searches I've done. For some reason, it seems I have a Silver Bay, but then in another online search it says it's a Golden Bay.

So how do I fix it.?? Repot in a smaller pot

Thank you for mentioning the fungal infection! I got a massive snake plant this summer and half the leaves had this browning on them. I let it completely dry out and the affected areas got all cripsy and it stopped spreading. I repotted afterwards and I'm hoping it will recover after I cut off all the damaged areas. There are so many videos out there talking about brown spots and rot etc, but not one of them aside from yours mentions this fungal infection which is very different looking (brown spots with smaller brown scales). Love your videos!!

If you cut the flower spike off, how do you get a new one to grow? I repotted mine, cut the dead spike. The plant is doing geat but I don't see any signs of a new flower spike. What do I do?
